Baby Blanket - Green, Blue, Yellow

Being new to Lethbridge, and in a new Church congregation, we are finding that there are many babies being born! As a matter of fact, I made two that I did not have time to take photos of! So you will miss out on seeing them. They were both for baby girls, and using the same yarns that my sister had given me - coral, creamy yellow, and cream. It was the first time I made a bauble edge on a blanket, and I loved it so much I have done it again. You'll see it on today's blanket.

The one I am showing you today is for a baby boy. Now, In amongst all the yarn I have inherited I do not have any baby yarn. But I thought a worst yarn would be OK if a flannel blanket is under it in the crib, or would be great for the stroller or car seat.

In trying to remember stitches, etc., I came across a blog and Youtube channel that I just love! I will share the links with you at the end of this post. Anyway, that is where I learned how to crochet multiple colours carrying the yarn so that you can make a lovely check/gingham look.

Unfortunately the colours did not come out nicely, but you get a better idea of the entire blanket look.
Do you love the bauble edging as much as I do?
